This course will be open for only the persons who have attended “Football Periodisation – Introduction seminar in 2011”, “Football Periodisation – Basic seminar in 2012”, or “Football Periodisation – Basic course (Level 2)”.This course will be opened for those who learned the introduction and the introductory part of the theory of the “Football Periodisation” in the Basic course.

【 Seminar program 】1) Chelsea Ladies Periodisation – From the beginning Emma Hayes will explain how she has implemented the Periodisation in Chelsea Ladies FC. How did she change the training schedule of the team that had no experience with periodisation? She will also share how she experimented with changing the planning of recovery days. 2) Full Time periodisation with adaptations for women Full-time training is common in the men’s game but in the women’s game not all teams are training full-time. Emma will explain how she guided the transition process from training 3 – 4 times per week to full-time training. In particular, she will explain how she avoided overtraining and injuries in the first phase of this transition. 3) External factors / Challenges / Monitoring Emma will explain the specific characters of a women’s team in general and female players in particular. She will share with the delegates several of the challenges a coach faces when introducing the periodisation model in the women’s game and how you can deal with it. She will also show the delegates how you can monitor/evaluate the progress of your team/players. 4) Trends in the women’s game – Based on the 2015 World cup / 2016 Olympics Emma will give an overview of the most important trends in the women’s football based of the 2015 World cup / 2016 Olympics. What are characteristics of modern women’s football and what are the biggest changes in the last years?
