World Football Academy Japan is founded!!

In December 2011, the introduction seminar on “Football Periodisation” theory designed by Raymond Verheijen, the world renowned conditioning coach from Holland, was held in Japan for the first time. Total of three seminars took place in Tokyo and Osaka, and total 230 amateur and J-league / JFA coaches attended the event.

The successful event led to the founding of World Football Academy Japan, the Asian headquarter of the World Football Academy (WFA). WFA Japan became the 4th worldwide headquarters of the WFA represented by Raymond Verheijen, following Holland, United Kingdom and South Africa.

As the Asian headquarter, our goal is to hold WFA symposiums in Japan periodically. We intend to create a place where soccer educators from all over Asia gather together, share and introduce the latest soccer theories for the purpose of achieving higher levels of accomplishments as a whole.
